A 24 Hour Emergency Responder Course for Responders in the Ammonia Refrigeration Industry

Who should attend: Emergency Response Team Members, Engineers, Maintenance Operators, Safety Personnel, Members of Management, and Human Resource Personnel

Overview: The 24 Hour Hazardous Materials Technician Training Course is designed to comply with the requirements of OSHA and the EPA. It is designed for Emergency Response Personnel who will be responding to chemical leaks or spills. Specific information pertaining to Ammonia Refrigeration will be covered. However this information will be beneficial to responders to any chemical leak or spill. The course contains Information vital to the safety of Responders.

All Participants will receive a Course Manual, Continental Breakfast and Buffet Lunch. A typical class day will begin at 8:00 AM and will adjourn  around  4:30 PM.  Classes  are  held  at  UA Local 166,  2930 Ludwig Rd.,  Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

Several motels are available locally.   (See Map)

Note: These courses will only be offered if we receive adequate interest.

CANCELLATION POLICY: To provide the best learning environment, we limit the class size. This often results in interested persons being placed on a waiting list. If you wish to cancel your employee’s attendance at one of our seminars, you may do so up to 21 days prior to the first day of the seminar with no cost incurred. If cancellation is made less than 21 days, 1/2 of the seminar cost will be billed, unless previous arrangements have been made If you fail to cancel or cancel within 48 hours and your employee does not attend the seminar, you will be billed for the entire seminar cost.. A person who is signed up and is unable to attend, may at no additional fee, send a qualified substitute.
